It's safe to say that I'm a shadow daddy stan. I know romantasy is not for everyone, but it is definitely my cup of tea. This book had every romance and fantasy cliché you can think of, and I loved every second of it. I feel like this book was written with me in mind; it had fae, vampires, a cute pet sidekick, a lil spice, and the writing was so millennial. I think this is a book that you will either love or hate and no in between, but I am anxiously awaiting the second book.

Really enjoyed this book!
Fantasy full ❤️
Hilarious side characters
Interesting plot.
Definitely more to come in book 2!
slow-paced

Thankful I didn’t pay for this.
Found out that the author is a Zionist.

This is hilarious as the heroine would have been Palestinian. Israel controls how much water the Palestinians get and it’s not much more than a few litres a day per person.

They live under horrific conditions and that was before the genocide. The apartheid Israeli regime makes going to other other “districts “ like in her book so difficult they have to drive through multiple checkpoints and through different roads so they never use the same roads as the Israelis. They make their life so difficult through every checkpoints and often can’t even go to multiple ones as you need to have a coloured iD card for each one of them so if you don’t have the right one you can never visit. Unless you are a foreigner or a settler.

The IDF uses excessive force and imprison people for no crime and without a trial. Let alone for just stealing like the heroine did.

Still listening out of curiosity if the parallels but either she is actually wrote about Palestine and doesn’t want to draw the parallels in real life or she is a hypocrite
