A new setting meant that this book took a while to get into the swing of but once again Kawaguchi pulls at the readers heartstrings again and again. Spilling wisdom onto each and every page.

Beautiful to read, just as the first one. I like that each chapter is dedicated to each person who sat in the chair but that throughout the chapters you still learn more about the cafe regulars and staff. It's slow paced but not in a tiresome way, more in the way that I feel like I could live inside the story. Just beautiful, thought provoking and comfy.

I do enjoy reading these series as they are light and easy read. However I wish there weren't so much repetitiveness. With that said, I will still read the next one in this series.
