Good primer on black hole physics. There were times when I felt a little lost in the thought experiments but I think that is because I listened to this book while doing other things. If I could read this book over again, I think I’d read a physical copy of the book so I could let the thought experiment and theories sink in more
Super interesting and well shared. Non fiction with a story telling bent.
Loved that the hard back was smaller than a normal book, leaning into the survival guide aspect. Pocket sized to carry with you into a black hole.

I still don't understand relativity OR quantum mechanics, but damn was this smoothly written, meticulously researched, and devastatingly good at making you feel teeny tiny in a weird universe. Black holes fill my brain to the brim.

Weirdly good - I expected to snooze through this. Mostly because science was not my strongest subject in high school. The author does a fantastic job breaking it down simply, as is evident by my new fear of falling into a black hole
Absolutely blew my brain. There were sentences in this that made me put the book down just to think about them for 10 minutes.
Short and dense (pun intended) but a clear explanation of black holes. The edition I read is titled "Black Hole Survival Guide" and has black and white artwork by Lia Halloran.
