Can't say that I was super impressed. I might have expected a lot because I saw the movie trailer shortly after having taken this book out from the library and I think I got a false idea of what the book was about, but it wasn't what I was expecting and I felt that it fell a little flat. It took nearly 3/4 of the way through the book to get my first bought of "breath-catching" and there was never a time I felt spooked reading it at night, which to me is a big indicator of just how spooky a mystery/thriller is.
It was a great concept, but I was very much like "well duh!" at the end. I still might see the movie but it looks like they jacked up the crazy quite a bit and turned it into more of a zombie/thriller instead of the classic, British ghost story that it read like.
