Actually pains me to give Roxane Gay anything less than 4 stars but unfortuately, this missed the mark for me.

I love Roxane Gay’s opinions and her willingness to express them. She gives words to many of my thoughts and opinions when I cannot express them myself and for that, I love her.

Essays on Black rights, womens rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, police brutality, gun laws, politics, the Me Too movement, and more.

I'm obsessed with Roxane Gay. I love her writing, and she shines in her media reviews especially. I would have liked to see more range on the political essays, though, across both time and particular issues.
