Very compelling. But giving me messed up childhood flashbacks. I'm reading the next volume immediately.

dark emotional tense slow-paced

This series moves at a snail's pace, which makes the tense scenes incredibly tense, but it's also frustrating to read one volume at a time. I recommend acquiring a bunch of volumes and the binge-reading them all at once. Highly recommended for fans of domestic thrillers, and also recommended for anyone who wants to study character expression in art.
