Picked it up in a BOGOF deal in Waterstones. Literally had no idea what it was about and vaguely aware of Marian Keyes but judged her books by their covers as ‘not for me’. I’m about 25 years late to this particular party. What a gut punch of a novel. Spent it laughing and crying and tore through it. And there are a ton of other books about the same characters, feeds my new found addiction.

Not at all what I expected. The cover made it seem like chic lit and this had very serious themes about drug addiction, alcohol, depression but also about friendships.

Much better than your typical chick-lit novel. I was actually pleasantly surprised by this little novel. It really helps to put you in the mind of an addict.
