Another great one from Mieville. While the experience of reading this book often left my mind murky, the picture that came into focus as I finished it was an experience not common in fiction. The entire time I read the book I felt like I had some insight into what the hell was going on, but time and time again I realized that my hunches were machinations of my own desires. Worth a read for sure. It will bend your mind as you turn the page. Long Live Orciny!

man i hadn't read a procedural in AGES..... i really love works that come up with an insane idea and then dig into it realistically. pretty cool! third part felt rushed to put every piece in place but maybe I'm just not used to detective stories anymore
