I still enjoy re-reading it. This tale teaches us to not promise of giving anything so irrationally just because we don't have it, so that we won't lose it when we finally get it.

Rumplestiltskin is a well known story but this is the first time I had read the original, however it doesn't differ from the one I grew up with at all. The plot and the characters are the same I loved growing up with and I am still as fond of them as I was back then.
