OH MY GOD MY MY GOD

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH!

A friend of mine recommended this to me, and I was iffy at first. However, I loved the author's writing tone and she hid plot twists everywhere she could!

All I can say is if you haven't read this, GO READ IT NOW. YOUR MISSING OUT ON YOUR LIFE!

Loved this book. I swear Sage is the long lost brother of Gen (from the Attolia series). I certainly wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn if Megan Whalen-Turner was an influencing author for Ms. Nielsen.

Anyhoo...fast read, great characters and plot. Very well thought out. Absolutely lovely story about identity and home. Truly a most enjoyable read, beginning to end.

For the first 2/3 of this book, I was not enjoying it and wondering why it was so highly recommended. I even thought about abandoning it. Then the story really kicked into gear. I loved the last 1/3 of the book, and it made reading the first part worth it. I'm not sure if I'll continue to read other books in the series, but I definitely don't regret reading this one.

I really loved this book! I EXTREMELY liked the main character (Sage) because of his attitude and his rebellious pride. Imogen is the sweetest person ever and I already love her so much. I usually prefer a book to be written in third-person narration but this book (written in first-person narration) was extremely enjoyable! The storyline is excellent and I will definitely be reading the next book.

Such a fun read. It reminded me of a teenage version of GOT.

I first read this book six years ago and come back to it every time I feel stuck. The False Prince is a book that reminds me of all I love about reading. These characters— protagonist Sage especially, Nielsen’s storytelling style, the unraveling of the reveal, are more than anything just fun as hell.
