Very interesting! It involved human nature, planning, leading, etc. I’ve heard mixed reviews and thought why not give it a listen as it’s short and was free on Audible!

Very good read but, it may be difficult for many western readers at least in any opener. It is hard to keep all the Eastern names in order in your head. Absolutely a great way to step out of your comfort zone and a short yet historically important book like The Art of War is a great start.

Something that, upon finishing, I wanted to revisit often, but have yet to so far. Great for establishing tactical fundamentals when attempting to understand combat literally, but simplistic enough to leave interpretation for outside military use as well. Great focus on military psychology (one of my many loves) for such an early text.
