adding this review late, sorry <3

This book deals with so much in 99 pages — covering everything from friendship and loss to family dynamics and childhood experiences. I was amazed at how much detail Ditlevsen went into, especially considering how young she was during the moments she wrote about. There were times when she fr crawled into my brain, making me feel things I didn't even know I felt as a child and still resonate with as an adult. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to finish the rest of the trilogy. You BEST believe I immediately ordered the remaining two books !!

Hieno aloitusosa trilogialle! Pidän hurjasti siitä miten Ditlevsen kertoo, todella taidokas tapa kuvata, kirjoittaa rivien väliin paljon. Pienessä kirjassa ehdittiin kertoa kaikki oleellisen oloinen lapsuudesta. Kirjassa oli myös huumoria, jota arvostin. Aion lukea toisen osan heti perään.
