I'm enjoying this series despite a few inconsistencies in character development and a few problems with the magic system. The storyline is too good to ignore.

It's a continuation and it feels a lot more urgent as it's the eve of war. It's an enjoyable read but nothing fantastic. The enemy has overwhelming numbers but just not as smart/crafty as the humans. There are plots aplenty, new characters that makes the life of our reluctant Marshall, Minalan the Spellmonger, difficult but he perseveres with the aid of his magical Corp.

Is this book fun to read? Sometimes. It feels like a by the numbers book. Guess I'll give book 3 a go to see what happens next.

Livro repetitivo, tudo é muito facil, personagem principal cada vez mais babaca.
