This edition has gorgeous illustrations! This was my first time reading the complete book, and I really enjoyed it.
It is an incredible work. Of course it deserves 5-stars. But the 4 is simply because I have not done it justice yet, and feel like having a better knowledge of Christianity and the bible would enhance the reading.

Inspirational classic
This is a classic for a reason. The words expressed show the versions of shell to its extreme. I believe that all classics should be read and admired. This one proves that age does not falter a good story. The story is separated by Cantos and it lends to how the story was told.

I mean yeah it's kinda long and dry but when we're talking hell and people crying into the wounds done by an swarm of bees that will continue haunting them for eternity while they walk around in a big circle - then we're talking my language!

It is hard to read and understand, I know. But you have to read through the lines in order to get a sense of what Dante actually wants to communicate. Then you'll realize his poem is more like a prophecy, with things related to the text behaving in our present world.
Que puedo decir de este libro que no se haya dicho? Simplemente se me hizo muy pesado, pero tiene un simbolismo atractivo, y fue un antes y un después en la literatura universal.
