This was the perfect book for me to read as I prepared for my college reunion in May. I remember feeling many of these same feeling as these women and it was interesting to read about their experiences. While my experience was different from most of the women in the book what resonated with me is this common experience of feeling lost and untethered after college and knowing that you aren't alone in feeling this way.
This was a well-written peek into what today's graduating women are dealing with regarding relationships, career choices, and the future. While I agree that it's coming from a position of privilege (all of these women have an Ivy League education and opportunities a middle class woman in the Midwest could never encounter), the sentiments still resonated with me. It was comforting to know that even the high and mighty on the East Coast struggle in their first year out of school as well. A great read!

I just graduated from college, and this book fell into my lap at just the right time. I found bits and pieces of myself in each of the five women Kitchener follows. So, so, so many "me too's" in this book.
EVERYONE WHO WENT TO COLLEGE SHOULD READ THIS!!
I loved reading about the different lives & intricacies that these 5 women went through. I feel like I have (or will) experience all of this as I continue to enter the “Real Adult” world. The last 5 months after graduation have been very depressing. I wish this was touched more upon (but is hard since everyone is different). I also really wish I read this my senior year or close to the end of senior year.
The only faults are the outdated tech (emailing over texting? OkCupid and not tinder), but it’s easy to get over. Kitchener is an amazing writer and was able to make this non-fiction read (for someone who doesn’t like it), very enjoyable.

Just some rich Ivy kids living it up after graduation trying to decide what exotic city they'd like to work in, travel to, and the next top graduate program they can get into. It reads more like a reality TV show. Not sure what the agenda for this book, but it hardly reflects what most post-grads go through. There's hardly any 'struggles' to empathize with. But it might be entertaining enough to those that just want to casually read some stories comparable to one dimensional reality show stars.
Based on the introduction I thought this book was going to be everything I needed right now, but it fell a bit flat for me.
I wish there was less of a focus on romantic relationships, and also couldn’t connect with the very Ivy League American setting. I loved a couple of the girls interviewed but others I didn’t warm up to

I couldn't put this one down! I so quickly became so invested and engrossed by these young women's lives. Got me thinking about my post-graduation year in a whole new way. Highly recommend!
