Hot damn what a story of secrets, betrayal, suspense and cruel intent all the freaking things I love. This Is Bk1 and there's so much that's going on you dont know who knows what and from a new arthur for me and I have to wonder if I've been living under a rock to not have read her book's, but I'll be fixing that now because I'm a fan.
Ember Bennett is a straight A student who's worked hard all her life with parents who love her to only find out her life has been a lie and she's thrust into a world where money is what oils the wheels of the privileged in the Winthorpe Academy and finds out the person who runs it is Thorne Briar and she's on his radar.
Thorne Briar is a goodlooking, sexy tall drink of water that'd give the devil a run for his money he has all the girls thirsty all except 1, but things are only getting deeper in the suspense of this story and I can't wait for Bk 2 I need that stat.

Ember has been plucked from her home after learning about a secretive relative. Shes expected to attend winthrope where everyone graduates and attends Ivy League universities. She can’t pass up that opportunity. Unknown to her, the place she’s taking was previously held by a girl named Savannah who went missing last year. Even more creepy, they look a lot alike. Thorne can’t get ember out of his head after seeing her arrive. He’s tasked with putting her through initiations for the secret society.

This is my first book by this author and let me just say I was blown away. She does an amazing job at creating a world of lies and deceit.
If you are in need of a dark bully romance look no further. Thorne is as dark and twisted as they come. He is a master manipulator, and I believe he has met his match with the beautiful and a bit naive Ember. Ember is thrown into this twisted world where wealth, brains, and bribes can get you whatever you want. When these two meet the twisted game that is meant to be played gets all twisted. Lines get blurred and the question becomes who exactly is friend or foe.
I know there is more at play behind scenes, and I can not wait to see just what those secrets are.
