Okay this was a tough read for me. At its core, this book is about abuse, specifically about mother-daughter abuse. Idk it was just hard for me to get through. I think it’s decently well written, and I can see why people like it, I think it’s just not my cup of tea.

I found the parallels between the Covid-19 pandemic and the Sara epidemic very interesting. I think reading a post 2020 book that is directly influenced by the pandemic is a trip.

Idk I probably have more thoughts on this but yeah, I don’t think it’s a bad book, I just don’t think it was for me.
