How dare they leave us on this cliffhanger! I thought Yukari's cliffhanger was bad (which it was) but this is its own level of excruciating.

Himari goes on a quest to discover Aoi's past, hoping it will let him return to his normal form. It's interesting to see her interactions with the Nue, since he's so different from Aoi. It makes me wonder, though, since it seems like the Nue is actually a different side of Aoi, not a different person all-together. Himari seems very determined to have only Aoi, and not any of the Nue.
We get to see Aoi's past in this volume, as well as meet his parents. It makes me sad for little Aoi, but it also makes me wonder what his parents' view of it is. I'm curious to see what happens next. The series doesn't seem to be ending soon, so I'm curious where it will go next.

Learned about Aoi's past and it was...underwhelming. I expected more from all the buildup we've gotten.

Loved that we got more of Aoi's past....although it was quite traumatizing and Aoi needs some serious cuddles. The only reason I am giving this a 3.5 rating is I felt confused (not quite sure what at what yet but confused none the less) and the mini stories at the end were weird :D.

Did a massive re-read/catch up with this entire series. Beautiful artwork and the story was just as good as I remember it (and it kept me up until 2 in the morning so that's always a good thing...)
