I really loved this book! My biggest complaint is Ethan - maybe because it’s not a dual POV, so we don’t have his inner monologue. I just didn’t feel connected to him…

I read this when I had covid in 2021 and had a 104 degree fever and had no knowledge of anything that happened lol. It’s Cute in a rom com type of way. Honestly, it would be a fantastic movie but it is so incredibly toxic I was laughing at how shitty they were to each other

This is the third Christina Lauren book I've read and the most disappointing so far. On paper, The Unhoneymooners is something I would absolutely love. Unfortunately in execution, this book made me understand what it was like to not be a fan of enemies to lovers. In fact, it's the first enemies to lovers I've read that made ME actively dislike the trope, which I thought was kind of impossible.

Perfeito!

I really enjoyed this contemporary. Who doesn’t love a good hate to love story. This was a quick read. The romance in this book had its good and bad moments, there were times when I was reading I felt like the author could have done more for the romance. I felt like the romance would get built up and then it would be going well and then it would just go flat, but this only happened a few times through the book. The end was cute too but still felt more could of been done. This book just didn’t meet the hype I heard about it, but it was a cute story. Would make a cute movie too.

"Enemies to lovers" in the sense that they were mean to each other for the longest time because of a misunderstanding that happened at the beginning. I'm glad this book wasn't super predictable, at least to what the big conflict is. Not my favorite characters but also not my least and I like that played a huge part of why I didn't like this as much. This is my second Christina Lauren book and both times I wasn't a fan of the main characters, this might be the author(s) for me.

This seemed so forced
The main caretakers only personality is wining and being unlucky
But mostly I hate the she is so lucky and perfect and everything I’m not and never will be

i actually rated it 3 and 1/2 stars but goodreads don’t allows 1/2 stars, but anyway.

first, i’m not into christina lauren’s books, but i’ve tried this one, since it’s very hyped for being funny.

the story was enjoyable, it’s actually a great book, but the end of the book was a bit boring and not necessarily needed (won’t spoil, but you’ll see if u read it)

anyway, i think it’s a bit overrated, but it’s still a great book for summer, and pretty fast to read, so i’ll recommend it!
