This is about a woman with chronic pain who is the director of a play that she was once in herself. It's not everyone's favourite play, but it seems to be hers - she wants to relive the play herself, as much of her life has deteriorated. I found the novel interesting at times but I did have a very hard time getting through it. I did not always know what was real and what wasn't - and at times that was great. But I felt like it these moments would go on too long and I would lose interest and have to put the book down. It took me a long time to finish this novel.

Parts were very interesting, but I still feel like I am missing something - I still am not completely sure what came of anything by the time I finished it.
