TW/ Tropes: abuse, parental death, assault, attempted assault, explicit sex, guns, blood. Hades & Persephone retelling, fake dating, forbidden romance, grumpy x sunshine

Persephone looking for freedom away from Olympus and blindsided with a marriage to Zeus by Zeus and her mother, Demeter causing her so run into the arms of Hades.

Enjoyed this retelling of Hades & Persephone more than I thought I would. Like the made pomegranate and Cerberus were both in the story just not in a way that was expected was very interesting. The voyeur/ exhibitionist from both Persephone & Hades cause me off guard but I’m not complaining!

Hades and Persephone modern retelling. It was a fast and easy read. I enjoyed the book but I didn't love it. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. I wish their romance would have been developed a little more. The ending was rushed. Also, I wish there would have been more of the Greek mythology involved. This wasn't really a "retelling" they just slapped Greek mythology names on these characters and called it a modern retelling. It was mediocre.
