sweet cute little graphic novel, i like her art in the tea dragon society a bit more, but i think this was published before so honestly it just shows her improvement. this was a cute little story about protecting the reefs and an enjoyable quick read

IF YOU CAN'T TELL BY MY USERNAME, I LOVE THE OCEAN!!!! This was fire, or water (haha). One, coral reef damage is a real issue and this book demonstrates in a way that's easy for kids to understand. Two, THE DRAWINGS ARE SO PRETTY AND MAGICAL AND I WANT TO EAT THEM!!! Three, Mae and Aure are both very pretty and I would be shy around them because their cool. I would have the BIGGEST squish (friendship crush) on both of them. Also! The aquicorns are too cute and I need one! This has great resources in the back to start learning about coral reefs! This book is a great mix of story, commentary, injured.

Also, the reason why natural nets are better than plastic nets is because natural ones decompose faster and will break easier, this leads to less of a chance that the coral is injuried.

Graphic Novel con target middle grade usata anche come mezzo per educare sul rispetto dell'ecosistema marino. Il tutto correllato da disegni adorabili.

A cutesy, light introduction to enviromental pollution for young readers. As to be expected from Katie O'Neill, the illustrations are beautiful.
