Cute graphic novel, loved the story and the themes in it. The pictures were stunning and easy to follow the story with.

Plus the Aquicorns were adorable!

With its stunning art style and colour scheme, a gentle plot and a powerful message about taking care of the earth and its oceans, Katie O’Neill has once again proved she can do no wrong. Although I truly believe this story is one for all ages, it makes my heart especially happy to know younger readers have stories like this to turn to, learn from and find inspiration within.

Aquicorn Cove is exceedingly charming and enchanting. Lana and her father move back to their hometown on the sea. A recent storm has left a large amount of debris everywhere, but amongst it, Lana makes a magical discovery: a cluster of Aquicorns, fantastical seahorse-like creatures. As another storm approaches her home, Lana must push for ways for her community to live in harmony with the sea and all of its creatures. Encouraging, empowering, and simply wonderful, Aquicorn Cove is a delightful read.
