Katie O'Neill is one of my favorite graphic novelists and I was so excited to read this book! I was not disappointed!

The story was pure and heartfelt while the illustrations took me on a ascetically pleasing adventure all its own. I love her use of the pastel palette and smooth edges! They make me smile and feel safe, does anyone else ever feel that way from illustrations?
