I enjoyed this book. Loved the friends to lovers vibes, and I thought they had really good chemistry. I enjoyed Noah and Alexis as characters. I appreciated that we got into some deeper topics on family dynamics in this book. I had a little bit of a harder time staying interested in the plot, but I still enjoyed it overall. I also love getting all the side characters in this series. I still really love the concept of these books and have fun each time I read a book in this series.

These books always make me cry and take me on a rollercoaster of emotions in the best way possible! Once again, Lyssa Kay Adams has written the perfect book: lighthearted with some hard hitting backstories of each of the characters that make you so invested you never want to put the book down. I can’t wait for the new book this year!

dnf at 80%. i was drawn to this series and liked the last 2 books because of the premise of a group of men reading romance novels together and taking them seriously. there was a miniscule amount of that premise represented in this book, so this read like any other romance. about halfway through, i was just reading to see if there was more of the book club storyline.
