Cute enough story though it has some of my least favorite tropes. I love that Beefcake makes the cover!

A friends to lovers book I actually enjoyed? I'm surprised at me too but Alexis and Noah are just too fantastic not to love.

Alright, so there is a cat cafe. As a cat lady, what did I want? ALL THE CAT CAFE ACTION. What did I get? Descriptions of one cat. One cat who is mainly viewed through the lens of people being scared of him. We rarely get Alexis's thoughts on the cat, just Noah's. And Noah, from my view, doesn't really understand cats.

I came for cat content and I was disappointed.

Thankfully, Adams let up on the Russian-shaming. And the body-functions weren't as omnipresent.

I liked the story well enough, but some of the family dynamics were broad-strokes to me.

And I just wanted lots of cats.

Meh.

These books make me smile a lot!

I enjoyed this more than the first two, I loved the chemistry and humour between the characters. The only part I didn't enjoy was when they sacked off their friends bachelor weekend to bang - despite their friends helping them get together and Liv literally saying all she wanted was for her friend to be there. Proper dick move and didn't seem very genuine for what are otherwise two real good people. It didn't ruin the story for me though, just annoyed me more than anything!

I've loved The Russian since book 1 and I'm so bloody excited for his book next. These books are just cute and wholesome if you need something to make you smile.

Quick and easy read. Not overly romancing but feel good enough for what I want from a book like this.

While I didn't dislike this book, I have to admit that I did find it to be just a smidge underwhelming? I had a pleasant enough time working my way through it, but neither this one nor the previous installment have really lived up to how much I loved the first book and I'm pretty bummed about it, tbh. I will still 100% be reading the next book in the series though because I am SO interested in the character that it is going to follow, so hopefully that one will work better for me! TL;DR: this was fine, but not a favorite for me.

TW: sexual assault, slut shaming, terminal illness, death of a parent

Lyssa Kay Adams is back with another instalment of the Bromance Bookclub. I love this series! This time around, we have a friends to lovers story that had me laughing out loud (especially the massage treatment scene) swooning, and just loving every minute of it. I couldn’t put it down. I want this series to keep going!!

I think this one is my least favorite so far. I really loved Noah and Alexis. There were multiple plot points that I felt like were unresolved and some things were just so random that I felt like the story was jumpy.

I liked this one but not as much as the first two. Still very good but just not as good

Absolutely love this series and the third book did not disappoint!!! Loved Noah and Alexis in this friends to lovers trope... I’m usually a fan of enemies to lovers but this one was sooooo good! Bringing back some original characters! And loved Alexis family storyline! Hoping for a fourth book!
