I was very intrigued my the plot of this book and I enjoyed it though for me I struggled to get through it. It lagged in parts and then raced to the end. Cliffhanger ending. I look forward to seeing where the story goes in book two.

Re-read: Fun YA science fiction story...you do have to suspend your disbelief A LOT in this one. It isn't my favorite Lauren Oliver book (I think Before I Fall is my favorite of hers), but book club kids adored it and we had a lot of fun reading it over this last quarter.

I was skeptical as I've had some bad luck lately with picking books but this was a great book to get me into this series! I really enjoy Lena as the main character and I hope she continues to grow. Also Alex makes my perfect book boyfriend list. Cannot wait to start book two!
