This is the third book in the Shameful secrets series but it's the first I've read as it's the only one that is m/m. Even though I haven't read any of the series I do not feel like I missed too much, though it probably would have been better reading them all.

Well that is some wild dynamics within the Park family! Lol

I loved Jude and Tate! The way they healed each other was very cute but also very delicious

Book 3 of The Shameful Secrets Series and FINALLY get to Jude and Tate’s story! We first met Jude in book 1, The Teacher of Nothing and I anxiously waited to hear what had happened to him and delve deeper into his story.
I loved the tender and sweet moments of this book and laughed at the funny lines. These characters are memorable and I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Knowing this series and the reputation of the Park family I knew I was in for a fun, dark read. Jude we met in previous books and he is haunted by the death of his mother and always wears a mask. Tate is the therapist who Jude's father brings in to help the family, however he has a dark past of his own.

This is an emotional and dark read that I have absolutely loved. What frustrated me is that we are left with so many unanswered questions but I know based on the past books we will not have all the answers until the book series is completed.

I highly recommend this read but I would recommend starting from the beginning of the series!

TΚœα΄‡ Hᴇᴀʀᴛ ᴏꜰ Sᴍᴏᴋᴇ by K Webster ~ Shameful Secrets Book 3
Jude ~ Tate
🍁🍁🍁🍁

Tate has been hired as a therapist to try and help Jude break out from the darkness he has surrounded himself with for decades. Little do they know they are exactly what the other needs to banish their demons.

WOW!!!! Jude and Tate's story was nothing I was expecting but also didn't realize I would enjoy it. The Park family is a weird and tangled web that sucks you in. Tate is exactly what the family needs, especially Jude and does an amazing job getting Jude to trust him and open up to heal. The suspense of the story keeps you glued to the pages and the twists will surprise you.

Although this is listed and can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend starting at the beginning of the series to understand the Park family dynamic better.

My first K Webster book and it won't be my last as I am looking forward to diving into not only her backlist but the rest of this series.

Get ready for...

~ MM ~ Dark ~ Bisexual Awakening ~ Hurt/Comfort ~ First-Person POV ~

⚠️ Trigger Warnings ~ Proceed with Caution ⚠️

This is the third book in the series and I was a bit nervous to read it as I was worried I would be missing out on crucial information. WIth that being said, it would likely be helpful to get other information but it can be read as a standalone. This story was a good one and Webster surely delivered! It was emotion inducing and heart wrenching for sure. BUT when it was spicy, it WAS SPICY!! Jude and Tate are perfect. And the ending was amazing. Loved this book and if you are here reading reviews, you should probably be reading the book instead.

This book has a bit of everything - there's broken people with emotional and physical scars, suspense, laughter and spice. Tate comes to work with Jude's family as a family therapist. Tate has his own baggage and while he makes it his life to help others deal with their pain, he's also hiding from his past. I loved how Tate was supposed to be helping Jude and his family with their issues, he got his own resolution. The characters have great chemistry and watching them go from being basically enemies to lovers was amazing!
