Espero que el otro libro de Soseki que tengo en cola ("Soy un gato") no sea tan aburrido como éste... :P

No es de los más rollo que he leído últimamente, pero tampoco es que me haya entusiasmado.

Lo añado a Goodreads justo el día que me lo acabo (olvidé añadirlo al empezarlo y luego se me pasó durante la lectura...) :)

Ortada bariz bir konu olmadığı için özellikle giriş kısmında anlamadan okuyormușum gibi hissettirdi fakat hep çok akıcıydı. Yazarın dilini epey keyifli buldum ayrıca çevirmen çok iyi bir iş çıkarmış. (👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼)

Kitabı okudukça Japon kültürüne özellikle geleneksel döneme öyle ya da böyle vakıf olmaya başlıyorsunuz zira kitapta detaydan bol bir şey yok.

Sonuç olarak kararım șu yönde: Japon Edebiyatı okurları sevecektir, sıradan bir okura hitap edeceğini sanmıyorum.

Only 5/5 book I've ever read. Witty but introspective, Soseki drives the plot by the thoughts and musings of a bland, 23 year old student. Pretty slow, but once you get familiarized with the characters, you begin to race through the seemingly mundane as fast as the trolleys in Tokyo during the Edo period.
