Chu Wanning needs to be protected at all costs

The wedding definitely hits a major speed bump and now everything is on fire! The majority of this section is a big old info dump and the reveal of someone’s true character… This includes some changes from his past life that are stumping Mo Ran, hopefully we’ll see some light on this soon!

But obviously a super important volume on the relationship progress! What is it about the epic slow burn of most danmei that is so addictive??? I NEED them to cuddle but Wanning might actually die of overstimulation if that happened 😂

The lengthy exposition dump in the middle of the book was ridiculous. BUT, the sexual tension (and cuteness) between Ranwan in this volume is exquisite 🤌🏼
