The Earl of London

Ok, Louise Bay... what have you done to me? You have fully brought me over to some sappy romance with a little steam, and I don't even know who I am anymore!

This wraps up this series (of standalone stories) which weave in the characters' siblings and such. Darcy and Logan lead this one, and while Logan is a prick, in the beginning, he OBVIOUSLY makes some changes throughout the book... Darcy is kind of annoying but she turns it around too. My biggest issue is how she went from such a "strong" woman to such a whiny girl towards the end.

Even with that, I couldn't stop myself and still fell deep into their romance/angst, and am kinda sad I won't see more of this group of characters!

How do you separate a narrator who you feel kills the character from the actual story...you have to reread it. Since I don't have the time, here are my thoughts.

You MUST read this, not listen to it. Even if Shane East is the reason you are listening. Shane saves the day but Darcy's narrator makes it painful.

The Earl of London is an opposites attract, opposing sides romance. Strong willed and strong minded Darcy gives Logan a fight he never saw coming.

Enemies to lovers in the British aristocracy countryside

Can women stop taking back emotionally stunted men who abandon and reject them because of their own insecurities??? IF A GUY TELLS YOU HE DOES NOT WANT TO MAKE THINGS WORK, IF HE TELLS YOU HE CANNOT CHANGE, *BELIEVE HIM*!!!

I just cannot deal with men who would rather give up and refuse to change because “thats who they are” only to realise that “oh, I do want it all” and go back and beg for another chance. NO THANKS. We are not taking back men who treat us like trash and disregard our feelings.

I wanted so badly to love this one, but I think this was my least favorite of the series. I absolutely hated how Logan kept talking about all the things he didn't usually go for with Darcy. If it was just once, it would've been fine. But this happened over and over. It was so annoying. Then you have Darcy being a complete rag over him wanting to start his own business in a town he also lives in. It didn't seem to match the personality she was supposed to have.

Then the conflict was just ridiculous. Logan is supposed to be a smart guy, but yet he doesn't realize he loves her? I don't know. I just know I wasn't as happy with this one.

Delightful, sexy as well as aggravating at time with a HEA.

So many more feels in this book then in the other of the series. Loved it.
