slow-paced

I finished this one yesterday but I've been putting off getting my thoughts down bc... I guess I just don't have much to say about it. It had the trappings of a great romance, a very independent fmc, a grumpy but soft mmc, a nice solid slow burn with just a bit of spice, and even a teenager that warms up to Aurora over the course of the book which I loved! But the rest? I've been looking forward to this one for a long time and it just left me feeling a bit underwhelmed since it wasn't particularly memorable for me. Definitely not bad but just missing some oomph.

i don't want to talk about it. i'm not ready. don't think i'll ever be.

Mariana Zapata you did it again. you made a home out of this book and these characters and i couldn't be happier as well as shattered that i was part of it.

a masterpiece.

MZ… ugh. So damn good. After coming off of When Gracie met the Grump this was what I needed. Slow burn, sweet… nothing mean just a good old slow burn novel. I loveddddd Rhodes.

Mariana Zaptata is absolutely one of my favorite authors. She is the queen of slow burn and every time she releases a new book, I read it straight away. All Rhodes Lead Here was another win for me. I adored Rhodes and Aurora's story. You can never go wrong with a grumpy/sunshine trope. While it wasn’t my favorite MZ book, i still enjoyed it like the rest.
