I read this as part of the buffyverse. Learning more about Illyria a demon old one, was really amazing. It gave more depth to her character.
The only thing annoying is having very little context of who the other characters are.
Definitely read this as part of your buffyverse readings.
I really loved the art in this one. Buffyverse comics can be really hit or miss art wise. But the watercolour in this comic is beautiful.

An interesting story taking place outside the Buffyverse! And to top it off, I thought it did a great job of filling in some of the Illyria mythos. Worth reading as part of your Buffy comics.

Enjoyed this arc more than I expected to, especially considering I know nothing about the comic and only bought it for Illyria's guest appearance. ALso, somehow I managed not to get he first issue. However, it was enjoyable overall, although I have to quibble about where it might fit in the story arc as presented in the Angel comic series (which has included weird bits, itself, that didn't seem to fit in at all, but there you go).
