Four books into this series and we have solved 0 problems. Every book introduces a new crisis and none have even come close to being solved.

The Immortal Ones #4
Dystopian
Shade Owens
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved how the plot focused on exploring the land and finding new people, some good and some bad.
The pacing was great and once I started reading, I just couldn't put this book down.
I'm so intrigued by the invisible wall and I have so many questions. Who made it? How long has it been there? Who controls it? Why? It makes me think of The Hunger Games and the forcefield that surrounds the arenas.
I think Silver is constantly growing and she is fiercely loyal and protective of the people she cares about. James and Sadie are two of my favourite side characters but they're all well developed.
I would like some more action back at Olympus and I look forward to seeing how Silver deals with the Elites and her promises with Jared and Nestor.

Loved this book! Silver, James, Sadie and Dax adventures continue! This book picks up right where book 3 ends and the action doesn’t stop! They go from one tough spot to the next until they finally get caught in a really tight spot. Silver is forced to make a bargain with two devils.
Shade Owens delivers with this story - but it does end with a BIG cliffhanger! Can’t wait for book 5!

I am sure it is obvious by now that I am a HUGE Shade Owens fan. There's just something about her writing and use of cliffhangers in her series that keeps me hooked! The Immortal Ones series is an excellent YA dystopian adventure with a strong female protagonist.
In Ignited, Book 4 of the series, Silver, her friends, and the people of different communities find themselves in a fight to the death with the Woodfaces who have been sent (threatened) by the Elites to bring Silver back to Olympus. Displaced yet again, Silver is forced to dig deep to find her inner strength and perseverance to overcome the challenges she faces in her travels. Will she ever find a place to call home and get the chance to live a peaceful life? Or will she have to take down Olympus and the Elites once and for all?
I loved the exploration of Silver and other characters, the sweet budding romance between her and Sadie, and the fast-paced and dangerous adventures she encounters. I can't wait to read the 5th and final book soon!!!
