Not my fav but I did like them!

Okay so I was really looking forward to Kimmy and Xan’s story, but honestly this book fell kinda flat for me. I don’t know I didn’t quite feel their chemistry as passionately as I felt Aiden and Elsa’s and I think that’s why I felt it didn’t measure up to the previous installments.

I was glad to see that this book handled some difficult issues well. But bully romances are just not my thing. I won't hold that against this book, but the writing was also not great...it read a bit like a first draft. And the romance was not believable tbh

This book took a lot of emotional twists and turns. Both main characters, Xander and Kimberly, are beautifully broken. Friends to enemies and eventually to lovers. I found myself crying, laughing and with my jaw on the floor throughout this book. Completely and utterly obsessed with the characters and  series.

Note: Highly recommend checking all triggers before reading. There is a lot of emotional trauma, self harm and bullying.
