Writing style didn’t really speak to me. Picked this up after listening to her speak on the podcast We Can Do Hard Things and I really enjoyed that. Liked the tone of the podcast better than the tone of the book.

Listened to this audiobook after hearing Ruby Warrington’s episode on the We Can Do Hard Things podcast. As someone who’s at the age where it feels like all of my peers are having kids, this perspective was refreshing and empowering. I appreciated how the author infused a lot of her personal experiences, thoughts, and struggles. I’m planning to buy a physical copy because it’s a book I’d like to reference and/or read again in the future.

I think this is a book I will come back to again and again, always understanding something new on each reread. It has both made me feel seen and want to better understand other women's perspective on life as a woman and as a mother.
