Bem… depois do algo surpreendente “Fates and Furies” este é completamente diferente no estilo, na época e na qualidade.
Da escrita algo floreada do livro anterior passa-se para a descrição tipo diário, com devaneios da protagonista à mistura (como sempre que há religião envolvida) e numa época nada entusiasmante. A ficção histórica fica muito aquém daquilo que é exaltado nas resenhas que prometem um portento.
Não funcionou, para mim.
Passar à frente é o único conselho possível.
