Update: This is my 3rd time reading this classic in the past few years, and I love it more each time! It was fun to listen to it this time to catch things I may have missed when reading it myself.

I had forgotten how much I love this book, with all of its nonsense and hysterical puns. I've loved it since we put the play on in junior high—Carroll's Jabberwocky is also one of my favorites—and I enjoyed every bit of it this time around!

I’ve watched the animation movie as a child but I’m glad I got to read the book now at 21 and not before, because it felt like reading my younger self or even my present self honestly. I think that all of Alice’s “absurd” thoughts are a lot relatable as a neurodivergent (autistic woman). I love how Alice just went with the flow and never questioned the world she was in.
