Hated it. Not for me in anyway.

It's a rather disjointed tale, but that's part of its charm, I suppose. I think those of us who grew up during and post-Potter will always have a difficult time appreciating the types of stories that were written for children before.

er.. I think I must have missed the point in this book. nothing made sense... I just didn't get it I'm afraid. its hard to find positives when you don't understand the book

Fun to read because it is so well known. Alice gets into a string of bizarre situations with many weird characters, often involving Alice shrinking or growing. Quite a few great puns and wordplays. Some very funny scenes, for example when they are all wet and want to get dry. The first attempt is to recite a very dry text. The second attempts is a caucus-race, where they all run in a circle for half an hour, and everybody is winner in the end.
Also fun to find out where a lot of expressions come from, for example "down the rabbit hole" and "Curiouser and curiouser".
