This book just had the "Cell Block Tango" lyrics playing on repeat in my head and I fucking loved every second.

I was hoping for more insights and nuance but the fast pace and amazing plot twists just had me eating this up!

It made me fearful that it's going to have graphic sexual assault scenes, but at least there wasn't any too graphic. But you have to know before reading this that there is some, and it leans heavy on the theme.

This book was already sitting at 4 star for me UNTIL I reached the middle and then it immediately shot to a 5.

The alternative timelines and characters is brilliant.

So well written and compelling I loved this book. While I could see most of the twists coming I still enjoyed it.
