I’ve seen this movie a thousand times but this was my first time reading the book - and it was incredible. And it was nice to see how close to the story the movie kept. Super fast read, super fun, definitely creepy but not all that scary in my opinion.

I got into the book after first watching the movie. I dont often get inspired to read from films but after the amazing animation job I couldnt help it.
Coraline is a short but fantastically creepy book, that I feel was much more thrilling then the movie (Although I think the movie was tamed down to reach a much younger audience.). I love the descriptions of the other mother and I loved how fast paced it all was. No long unnecessary delays in the story. well detailed and terrifying in parts. loved it.
