Dopo aver visto il film, posso dire che le vibes (sempre molto spooky, intento super riuscito) e le ambientazioni mi hanno dato l’impressione di essere diverse; la protagonista, semplicemente, è diversa, più dolce e, apparentemente, con meno carattere rispetto alla Coraline del film. In realtà, di carattere, ne ha da vendere! Ciò viene dimostrato durante l’andazzo della storia e mentre supera tutte le prove che deve superare, così lo scopo di trasmettere e insegnare il coraggio al lettore viene raggiunto in pieno. Non per nulla definito un capolavoro di Gaiman, è una vera e propria fiaba dark sui valori della vita e della famiglia.

I worked on this book for a project in my master's degree. It was a selection I made with a lot of blind impulse. But I still tank my stars I went by my gut feelings... It was just what I wanted at the time.

Dark, comic, scary yet endearing, simple and complex at the same time.

Coraline and her paracosm just bewitched me. It not only gave me a great time reading, but also secured me a place in the list of top 10 best papers that year.

Me gustó mucho, pero la única manera de consumir esto en el 2025 es ilegal porque tristemente Neil Gaiman es un abusador, me apena porque obras como the sandman y good omens me gustaban mucho, y tenía está pendiente por leer, luego de quitarme la inquietud ya no quiero leer más.
