I know this book is cheesy, but it was so dang cute and the characters are so unique it makes the book so special. It's a great book for YA.

This was really cute and super relatable. I found it a bit slow at first but it was most definitely worth the wait. The ending was brilliant and not the happy ending you'd think. Its still not Fangirl but its good. I liked it.

Coming-of-age and the maturity process in a young romance, in a well-written setting of comic books, cassette tapes, and an acknowledgment of privilege in the face of poverty and abuse.

I was rooting for these two, although the tragic and sad back story of one of them. Also liked the incorporation of what it’s like to be a second generation Asian immigrant.

“I want everyone to meet you. You're my favorite person of all time.”

A lot of people compare this to The Sun Is Also A Star, which I kind of get, but this one was so much better in my opinion. The characters felt really fleshed out, they were likable but not without their flaws, and no one felt like a super villain. I absolutely adored the romance, it felt so beautiful and realistic. Rainbow Rowell has definitely marked a spot as one of my favorite authors.
