I know the author mentioned that this is the last book for the Briar characters but I am hoping she will consider, at some point, continuing Hannah and Garret's story. Their part seemed too rushed. Well actually everyones story seemed rushed, but Tucker's and Sabrina's. I did enjoy the series as a whole, and that we got some closure for all the characters through these stories.

Did I love and adore this? Yes.
Do I think it could be better and stronger? Also yes.

I guess this was a nice way to finish off the Off-Campus series, but it was mostly unnecessary and feels like she's just trying to tie off things with a bow and set up the next series.

No reason to read it unless you are a fan of the series. If you just want to see what happens to the couples a few years later, it is ok.

I really liked this wrap up to this series and I'm sort of sad to see these characters go, even knowing we'll see cameos in other Elle Kennedy books. Alexander was a really fun addition to the story as well, but I hope we're done with him because just the idea of him creeped me out too lol. I kinda wonder if he'll be in The Graham Effect.

Logan & Grace's snowed in weekend was absolutely adorable. I love their ability to make light of any situation and be so nauseatingly in love despite discussing survival tactics and cannibalism. I loved that they kept little secret to themselves and just had that romantic bubble for awhile before spilling the beans to the rest of the group - despite Allie's eavesdropping ways.

Dean & Allie's predicament was interesting, especially considering the playboy Dean was in the past. I thought it was fun how he was so committed to taking the next step with Allie and that she was the one who was reluctant. I thought they handled their disagreement well and I enjoyed the communication.

Tucker & Sabrina's honeymoon was so funny. Everything kept going wrong and Sabrina was the Sabrina we knew and loved from the beginning while Tucker was cool as a cucumber. I felt so bad for them. I also enjoyed properly meeting little Jamie. Team Sabrina with the argument btw. She's not a mind reader!

And Garrett & Hannah... I went into this hearing that a lot of people didn't like Garrett in this book, but I couldn't understand why. I was proud of him for his end decision regarding his father & while DUH he could've handled the news about Hannah better and he said some things he definitely shouldn't have, we've all done that in a moment of frustration. I don't think Hannah was in the right for keeping such a big secret for so long, but I can't imagine being in her shoes, so I'm not sure that I would've done any differently lol.

This was honestly a let down. I was so excited to see how all these couples were doing, but my god we were out through the ringer with this one. Conflict and pain for what! Give us the cute fluffy moments we were looking for and move on. No Elle Kennedy chose violence let me tell you.

We start off with Logan and Grace's part which was pretty boring for the most part. By the time we got to an actual event it just cut it off and we didn't actually see anything! I was so mad.

Dean and Allie's part started off so strong and then it sorta went downhill. I loved seeing Dean, Logan, and Garrett get back to their shenanigans in this part. Helping Dean come up with a proposal was so fun! I loved seeing Tucker and Sabrina's wedding in this part, and seeing Tuck's bachelor party where all the guys got back together for a little hockey reunion. It really felt like a full circle moment that I was looking for more out of this book. Unfortunately we had to go down the road of Allie and Dean arguing about getting engaged and then ending up getting engaged anyways? I was here for the engagement, don't get me wrong but it was like what was all that drama for then? Ugh frustrating.

Tucker and Sabrina's part was so meh. The were really comfort characters to me after The Goal, but their part was just a mess. One unnecessary struggle after another. An almost plane crash, a jellyfish sting, a coconut to the head, being severely sunburned, and all topped off with Tuck being arrested! C'mon give them a break my god. It was just unpleasant to read about and I really skimmed through their part. Which was suck a shame because Tuck and Sabrina were such comfort characters to me after The Goal, but whatever I suppose.

Then lastly my babies, Garrett and Hannah. I have been salivating to read this book ever since I finished The Deal. I wanted to fire through the series so I could get more Hannah and Garrett. But I finally get here to the 4th part of this 5th book in the series and I'm like what? I wanted two things from their story that I felt like The Deal dismissed. 1) To see Garrett take down his Dad, and 2) See Hannah's parents get out of that awful town and for them to live closer to Hannah. That's ALL I wanted from this (plus a little Garrett and Hannah fluff of course). And FINALLY I see those two things put into motion and then the book ends before I get to see Hannah's parents move and to see Garrett's dad fuming over Garrett telling the world what he did! No I need more! And then we end it on that cliffhanger and I don't get to see no baby/babies! I'm not even that into babies but c'mon I want to see Garrett Graham hold a little baby!! But alas no dice.

But that seemed to be a theme in the book. Right when the characters get to a part I actually want to see play out, it just cuts right off which was so frustrating. This is supposed to be a happy little epilogue ending book, and instead we get prolonged pain and major events getting cut before they can even begin.

I hate when authors write epilogue books like this and throw in conflicts for the sake of conflict. It's unnecessary honestly. Like for instance even though I didn't love Logan and Grace's part, their novella was the perfect amount of "conflict". They wanted to be together but were having trouble finding the time, which was realistic. I wished I could have seen more of like the actual event at the end of their part, but the amount of drama that happened was a perfect amount for a short story like that, and I wished the other parts of the book followed suit.

I was really confused by how much time we were taking up with that creepy Alexander doll in the beginning but it was sorta funny by the end. That part, as odd as it was, really was an accurate representation of the boys relationship with each other in the first 4 books. It's totally something they would do, because they were always trying to joke and mess around with each other. I wish the book would have been more funny and fluffy moments like that, then all the unnecessary drama we had to endure through this book.

Ultimately I'm not mad I read this, but I am a little disappointed that this is how the series ended. I feel like we got cheated a little bit. We got a full epilogue book with all the couples in it and I'm still looking for more.
