Thanks to NetGalley & Random House Children's for the early copy in exchange for an honest review.
A retelling of the classic series, this follows the first book all about dinosaurs! Jack and Annie get sent back in time thanks to...a magic tree house that they discovered.
I really LOVED the art style in this book. It was so soft and pleasant to look at, plus the dinosaurs were both cuddly but realistic! Also, Pennsylvania is at least accurate with its unlimited trees, so props to the artists for that, ha.
I do wish the book was more informative like the originals, but I can see that infodumps would be hard to convey in a graphic novel. It's still a great start to a series and I hope it rekindles children's love for the series!

I was never much of a fan of the Magic Tree House books. I much preferred Junie B Jones. Currently it looks like the MTH has ended at book 55 which was published in 2016, but a whole new group will be introduced to these stories and characters through graphic novels. The Graphic novels don’t seem to be as easy as the chapter books were, but that may be a misconception by the author. The graphics were good and the story translated well. I can not wait to read the next one.

Oh, how this book takes me back to my childhood when I read and loved all of the Magic Tree House books 🌳🏠✨🦖 Thanks again to NetGalley and Random House Books for Young Readers for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for feedback.
Brother and sister, Jack and Annie, come across a mysterious treehouse that’s filled with tons and tons of books. One book in particular takes them on an adventure to another time and place, a place that’s filled with DINOSAURS!! How will they get back home? Reading this book definitely brought back great memories of reading this series as a kid and reminds me why I loved reading series growing up. Once you finish one book, you need to read the next one to see what happens to your favorite characters! I can’t wait to see what adventure Jack and Annie go on next 😊
