Another cute, funny, unexpected, and surreal jaunt through the Land of Ooo, courtesy of a host of talented artists and writers dipping their toes into the always imaginative pool of Adventure Time! The shorts our favorite characters to all manner of bizarre and hopping places, including the Lemongrab's beach picnic, the Ivory Tower, and even a world where everyone, sans poor old Starchy, has a mustache. A few of them end a little abruptly, with little explanation or relation to anything we've seen before, but that's expected in a space where the creators are given [i]carte blanche[/i] to explore. I'd say that, above everything, the shorts really do capture the voice and spirit of the show, and I particularly enjoy the little cameos of minor characters, like Party Pat. Of course, my favorite short involved a new character, the spooky Pumpkin Princess, aiding Tree Trunk's special Halloween pumpkin pie baking. All in all, definitely worth a quick read!
