definitely reads more like a horror story than a romance. the only slightly interesting part was about Adelines grandmother, and even that fell flat. don’t waste your time if you’re looking for a quality story with good writing, but if you’re looking to point and laugh maybe this is right for you.

Marginally better than Haunting Adeline but there's still a huge disconnect and a very confusing ethics system with the MMC. I like Addie; I’m glad she regains her power and I started to like the evolution of their love, but the writing is a miss for me. It often feels like it’s reaching for edginess without much success, and I mostly couldn’t  wait for the smexy scenes to be over because they always feel very inauthentic and almost boring.

I’m interested in the Molly story and I feel like I may regret it, but I don’t think this author’s style is for me beyond that. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 2.75 ⭐️

This book is the epitome of an adrenaline rush if there ever was one. So sickening and chaotic and unbelievable. I honestly hate it but I couldn’t rate it too low because I was completely engulfed with interest and I couldn’t put it down. I speed read the last like 100 pages because all the craziness had tamed down and I was completely burnt out. Truthfully I’m just mind fucked.
