I have so many feelings about this book bcz it is the most hated novel of this year I would say I liked it somehow. I really liked how colleen made us love the love interest that is abusive towards her but in the start the reader falls in love with that character and we start to justify all of his actions in our brain. That is the effect of abuse if you have gone through one and making the reader feel that makes her writing style amazing. As for the most known and widly hated thing in this novel the same thing that happened in heart bones the other love interest is also a victim of abuse and has been kicked out of his house and is trespassing and living in an empty house there are so many things wrong with this novel and we dont have much trigger warnings before it which makes it very worst for young readers I read it when I was 14 it was not the ideal time to read and I wish I hadn't read it. AT that time it was amazing of a book but now that I have grown up and know enough I dont appreciate how the love interest was depicted and I would liek for this book to have trigger warning in the start.

Surprisingly enjoyable after detesting the first book 3🌸 

NB I picked up this book expecting to hate & make fun of it, but ended up liking the story. I found it really satisfying & empowering to see Lily call out Ryle’s abusive behaviour & get a second chance of love with Atlas. There are still Ellen DeGeneres diaries but thankfully not as much as book 1 + the inclusion of Atlas’ perspective was a good addition.
