very unnecessary sequel that could’ve easily been wrapped up as an epilogue in IEWU or even a novella, not a 300+ page book. the only interesting thing that happens is the side plot of atlas’s brother but it doesn’t really add anything to the story or to atlas’s character.

I really liked the ending and the relationship of the protagonists, Lily and Atlas.

When going into the sequel of ‘It Ends With Us’, I wasn’t expecting a lot if I’m being honest. I was very pleasantly surprised on how the life of Atlas and Lily continued. It was beautiful and showed so much love that made the book so good. Getting to see Atlas’s POV was something that was definitely needed and helped you understand him more as a character. I am so happy with this book and will recommend it just as much as the first!

*Spoilers

This might be the worst writing I've ever read. Everything is explained as it happens, as if the reader is too stupid to understand anything. All the characters are one-dimensional (especially Ryle), and the story is so predictable it's pathetic.

The only redeeming qualities of the book are that it has a good message and is pretty easy to breeze through.

The plot between Atlas and his brother is much more interesting (although extremely predictable) than the romance or the Ryle/Lily plots. I wish more effort had been put into the message that, as a child, you don’t owe your parents anything (which is the main takeaway from the book), but it wasn’t even elaborated on enough or in any actually interesting way…

a beautiful closure to lily and atlas’ story.  after all the pain and darkness of it ends with us, i loved being able to read about their happy ending, even with its challenges in the aftermath of their childhoods and lily’s recent past

Certainly less impactful than the first book and much, much cuter. The ending that I wanted, but there is a hole that feels a bit unplugged with Ryle. Also loved the reintro of Atlas’s mom. Getting to know him better was satisfying.
