I think I'm officially done with Grisham's books. This book could have easily been a hundred pages shorter and the entire story was so obvious, virtually all the way through. It got 2 stars because I hung in with it, so it avoided the dreaded 1 star. There was nothing of the Grisham of yore and that seems to have been a common theme of the past few years.

Time for a kill introduced me to Jake Brigance. The movie captured the essence but the book was better!!
